Makeup Artist / Salon Manager

Erica is our fun-loving Salon Manager who has been with Taka for nearly a decade! Erica handles all things public relations, administration, and staff development at the salon. Erica has a background in business and she’s also a licensed Cosmetologist. Erica began to expand her passion for beauty to the world of professional makeup, when she witnessed a consistent lack of diversity and lack of knowledge for all skin tones and types throughout the industry. Erica’s motto is “don’t just witness the problem, become the solution,” and she has done just that. Erica’s makeup has graced the pages of Vogue, Teen Vogue, and Essence Magazine. She’s worked with brands such as Hulu, Netflix, and Google to name a few. Her brushes has graced the face of tennis star Naomi Osaka as well as Law and Order actress Danielle Truitt, along with a slew of other celebrities, red carpets, photoshoots, TV shows and films. Erica believes the true heart of beauty comes from within, and when you look at life through the lens of LOVE all beauty has a voice if you’re patient and persistent enough to hear how it speaks to you.
